We are featuring the work of our daughter, Melissa Silversmith-Firestone.   Melissa started painting under her dad, Mark Silversmith's, easel when she was 3 years old, sold her first painting at the Santa Fe Indian Market when she was 6 years old.  By the time she was 8 she was winning first place awards in a competition with 8 - 16 year olds.  She earned a BA degree in Fine Art from the University of Colorado in Denver.
